Queen Silvia has the longest reign of all Swedish queens. Despite this, it was not obvious when she stepped into the limelight in 1976 that she would become queen. When she now turns 80, she looks back on her life and talks openly in two programs about light and darkness in the time before and after she was transformed from Silvia Sommerlath to Queen of Sweden.

We gain an insight into and understanding of the tradition-laden responsible duty that being king, queen, crown prince or crown princess means. The royals get to take part in film clips from their own lives, which they comment on and react to.

This Swedish AD-radio case illustrates how a simple advertising script evolves into a fully realized radio commercial. By combining a humorous Swedish-American cowboy voice, playful bilingual copy, and a tailored Western-style music bed, the production team created a distinctive audio character for McDonald’s “McBacon” campaign. Through casting, voice direction, sound design, and custom music production, the spot transformed into an engaging, memorable branding asset that audiences quickly recognized and connected with. It demonstrates the craft behind effective radio advertising: character-driven storytelling, strong sonic identity, and precise execution across voice, music, and mix. Audio production engineer Jesper Eriksson is a self-defined one-man band, operating Jesper Eriksson JE-Digital in Värmdö, Sweden. His Nordic broadcast clients include HBO-Nordic, Ericsson, RedBee, C More Entertainment, Telia, TV4, SVT, Kanal 5, SBS Discovery, and more. Other output from his Värmdö studio includes Blu-ray and
file delivery and masters for brands such as Sony DADC, Dicentia Nordisk Undertext, Plint.
JE-Digital Audio History.
I´ve been in the audio business since the late 80´s in Scandinavia and in the beginning
I worked in the analog domain and learned the many trix and tools of the trade.
Had the wonderful experience to convert to file based digital workflow with Diggidesigns Pro Tools in the early 90´s. I have worked with every incarnation of that wonderful tool and today working in Pro Tools Ultimate 2019.12. with ful Dolby Atmos capability.
During the years I have been involved in all levels of audio productions corporate, radio, film, TV and music recording and mixing. Game sound both with voice and sound fx creation. DVD and Bluray sound remastering, restoration and encoding both for Dolby, DTS and on every audio platform.
Today I´m involved in all forms of audio production and music mixing also as a consultant.
JE-Digital Video History.
I started as audio technician in the early 80´s and worked close to slide show and video production. In the 90 the video boom made me working more and more with video and film in the corporate sphere. The company I worked for had one of the first Sony Beta SP cameras in Scandinavia and during years I have worked on wonderful projects and with fantastic teams.
Since 2005 I´ve been involved in broadcasting business there I helped Canal plus starting up Scandinavia’s first terrestrial HD channel airing both sport, film and series in full HD with 5.1 sound. Today when everything is about file-based handling of the content, I share my time between video and audio.
